Before you travel
Ask the clinic for written information about the proposed procedure, examination requirements, number of visits, estimated duration, included fees and possible additional costs. General information provided online does not replace an individual examination or treatment plan.
Language and additional services
State your preferred language. Confirm in advance whether interpretation, airport transfers or accommodation assistance are available, who provides them and what the charges cover. Do not assume these services are automatically included with your appointment.
Examination and information
Before treatment, discuss your medical history, medicines, allergies and previous procedures with your dentist. Ask for information in a language you understand about the proposed procedure, options, expected benefits, possible risks and follow-up needs. Ask questions and understand the explanation before giving consent.
After treatment and your return journey
Obtain individual instructions from your treating dentist about care, medicines, check-ups and when to contact the clinic. Discuss the timing of travel or flights with your treating dentist. This page is not a fitness-to-fly certificate. Clarify in advance where and how follow-up appointments will take place after you return home.
